Why "Mahler's Glasses" as a blog title? Partly because his glasses were really cool. But also because seeing the world through his glasses means recognizing the bitterness of the world (only those who have experienced racism can know how painful it is) but loving life with an almost unreasonable optimism anyway. I admire that.
